Sadafumi Nishihara

Hiroshima University
He began his academic career in 2005 as an Assistant Professor at Osaka Prefecture University (now Osaka Metropolitan University), and joined Hiroshima University as an Associate Professor in 2010.
Since 2011, he has led pioneering research on single-molecule electrets, culminating in the first publication of the concept in 2018.
In 2023, he co-founded Material Gate with his former student, Yuki Nakano, to commercialize this breakthrough materials technology.
